Frenchie Tate is the less visible element of Hard Time Management, the Hollywood based artist management firm for recording artist who are seeking representation and their first recording agreement/record deal. Eric Robinson, Founder of the More Life Ahead Foundation is the more visible partner. Commonly known as Frenchie, this self-made businessman and entrepreneur is the youngest of the Alabama Tate clan. Frenchie’s quest to be in the entertainment business began as a teenager, growing up in Alabama. The lure of the bright lights and big city was the driving factor behind his decision to come to Los Angeles in 1987. Quotes Tate, “I wanted to be in show business and I had to move to California to fu-fill my dream” Armed only with the desired California attributes; the six foot two, medium build, Carmen complexioned Alabama Adonis began working as personal trainer at a local Bally’s spa in 1987. Frenchie has been employed in several entertainment related fields, and has been in the presence of several well known celebrities, who are among some of tinsel town’s more recognized faces and names such as: Arsenio Hall, Tony Gray, Ron Glass, Hugh Hefner, Anna Nicole Smith, Madonna, The Pointed Sisters, Dr. Ben, Bone Thugs an Harmony, and the late Eazy E. An avid martial arts enthusiast, Frenchie’s hobbies include a variety of martial arts. He holds a Second Degree Black Belt in Kung Fu, and enjoys bodybuilding. He has completed several body building competition and has won recognition in the following competitions: 1991 First Place Overall Competition, 1990 Second Place and 1990 Fourth Place Mr. LA. Frenchie’s focus is now on acquiring recording agreements for several of his artists That he co-manages. According to Frenchie: “The prospects seem positive.”
